Online "late" registration is still open until the end of January for participation in our spring 2012 season. Teams will be formed by the end of January, so please register now.  Invite your friends, neighbors, and school mates to join you and play together. Fastpitch is a great family experience, and ASA softball has no boundaries so any girl age 4-16 can play in our league!

Team Formation Announcement

Thank you to all our AAA and AAAA families for participating in the player evaluation events. While the conditions were wet and chilly, these evaluations enable our coaches to meet your kids and understand their current level of softball development.  Our goal is a great rec experience for all players and these evaluations are important.

For all registered players please note that teams will be formed at the end of January.  Each player's families should receive a call from your daughter's coach by February 4th. Have a great season and play ball!

Preseason Skills Clinics

Instruction by Cutting Edge

One of the many unique benefits to playing in the LGSGSA is our commitment to high quality instruction. At no additional cost, the league provides an array of preseason skills clinics.

Click here to register for clinics. The kids have a great time, learning from the professional instructors at Cutting Edge Softball (CES). Clinics cover all aspects of the game including defense, batting, pitching, and the catching position. Our coaches also receive specialized training thereby enhancing their experience. Please note clinics are for registered rec league players only.

Most clinics are held indoors at the CES facility but check the information page as the Pitching clinic is outdoors at Foothill to allow more participation.

3rd Annual Poker Night

Event Results & Recognition

The 3rd annual LGSGSA Poker Tournament on Saturday 1/14 was a huge success. Thanks so much to our gracious event hosts Bret and Carolyn Moore! The big winner was John Musser and our skilled runner up Greg Smith. Well done, gentlemen.

Proceeds from this terrific annual event help pay for major facility improvements completed this winter including fences for all fields, new dugouts at Foothill and Blossom Hill fields, etc.   

We also want to thank Dave Burt and our great sponsors. Prizes were donated by many local restaurants Steamer's, Double-D's, Campo Di Bocce, Shangri-La, Forbes Mill, and Cin-Cin as well as goodies from Moore Buick and Coit Carpet cleaners.
